Our website allows registered members access to their account details and a range of account functions, including checking account balances online and applying for a loan. We also have a Frequently Asked Questions page for both savings and loans which may answer your queries. If not, there are a number of ways you can contact us:
Join Online
If you want to become a member and start saving with us you can do so apply to join us online.
This option is currently only available to those who live in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan, so if you live outside of these areas but are eligible to join us, please contact us in one of the other ways below, or download a membership application form and return it to us at one of our offices below.
Apply for a Loan Online
If you are an existing member and want to apply for a loan, you can apply online by logging into your account if you are registered on our website. Please remember that in most cases, you will still need to send us supporting information including a recent bank statement and payslip, for us to process your online application.
If you are a new member and want to apply for a loan, you can download our new member loan application pack, or contact us to request the form to be sent to you.

You can email us at ccu@cardiffcu.com with general queries, and we aim to respond within 24 hours on a working day. If you have a specific query regarding your account that you want to email us about, we may need to call you to verify your identity, so please leave a contact telephone number in your email.

We also have a number of information and collection points across Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan where you can pick up hard copies of any of our forms or talk to a volunteer. Please note that all points are currently suspended.
Making a Complaint
We value feedback from our members, and if something goes wrong, we want you to tell us about it so we can put things right and continually improve our service to our members. If you want to make a complaint you can get in touch with us in any of the ways listed above, and we'll investigate the problem.
If you don't feel that we have dealt with your complaint to your satisfaction, then you can request the Financial Ombudsman to look into your complaint (provided that you have given us the opportunity to resolve the matter with you directly first).
