Cardiff Credit Union provides free life insurance on loans in the event of the member's death:

Members are covered up to age 70 years on loans up to a limit of £5000 over a 5 year term.

The insurance covers the balance of a loan outstanding at the date of the member's death but is subject to regular repayments having been made in accordance with the terms of the loan agreement.
